We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Structural / Thermal Analyst I with experience in the thermal and mechanical design of LV sections, tanks, fairing, components and systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in FEA and thermal simulations, combined with hands-on experience in experimental development and testing of high-performance components. This role involves close collaboration with an international R&D team to optimize the design and performance of LV components and systems.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform static and transient structural and thermal analysis of LV components and systems to ensure mechanical integrity under operation loads.
Develop test programs, analyze experimental data, and apply results to improve design iterations.
Develop of mathematical models and special software for thermal analysis in Matlab.
Develop/Preparation CAD models for FEA analysis and manufacturing.
Develop technical reports, technical specifications, sections for PDR and CDR, etc.
Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, aerospace, and controls engineering.

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Master’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or related fields.
Minimum 9 years of industry experience in aerospace design and analysis.
Expertise in Ansys products: Mechanical, Explicit dynamics (LS-Dyna), Linear and nonlinear eigenvalue buckling, Harmonic response and Random vibrations for simulation tasks.
Proficiency in MATLAB programming, data analysis and optimization.
Proficiency in SpaceClaim and SolidWorks
Fluent in English.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

Prior experience with cryogenic systems, liquid rocket systems and components.
Hands-on experience in design and improvement of LV components and systems.
Knowledge of manufacturing and technological processes of parts is preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
