- Collaborate with domain experts and system engineers to ensure software accuracy, usability, and integration into broader analysis workflows.
- Continuously improve and validate simulation tools to support real-world propulsion system design and performance evaluation.
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or related fields.
- Minimum 4 years of industry experience in aerospace propulsion systems.
- Solid experience in propulsion and thermal systems engineering, particularly in the context of liquid rocket engines.
- Proven track record in developing engineering software, including algorithm development, numerical methods, and system architecture.
- Strong understanding of fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and heat transfer principles.
- Proficiency in programming languages and tools commonly used in scientific computing and simulation (e.g. MATLAB, Fortran, C++ , Python etc.).
- Familiarity with software validation, documentation, and user support in a research or R&D environment.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- Experience working on projects where developed software was used for real-world engineering analysis.
- Ability to manage the complete software development life cycle—from concept to deployment and maintenance.
