EchoStar has an exciting opportunity for Network Engineer – Product and Service Test

in our Hughes Network Systems division. This position is located in our Germantown, MD office.

Job Responsibilities:

• Work on the New Product and Services Readiness Test (NPSRT) team to support the launch of new products and services into the Hughes network for enterprise and consumer users world-wide.
• Create and execute test plans and procedures to qualify new networking features, new hardware platform and new services.

Basic Requirements: 

• Master’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a closely related field plus 6 months’ experience in networking technologies or Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a closely related field plus 5 years’ experience in networking technologies.
• Experience must include 6 months in each of the following: Wireshark; network automation; real time packet capture; Jira; network device qualification; regression testing; 4G and 5G network qualification; and SD-WAN.

Will be eligible for discretionary bonus, with funding based on company performance.
