Within the frame of our fast activity growth and in the aim of the industrialization of our products and implementation of our future factory, we are looking for an Industrial Test Bench Leader on our site of Massy (91).

Position Overview:

As a Industrial Test Bench Leader, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of all activities of facility team. You will also be responsible of designing, developing, and maintaining test bench systems used for validating and verifying the functionality, performance, and reliability of all products during project development and production.

You will collaborate closely with Industrial Engineers, Design and Systems Engineers and Project Managers to define test requirements, develop industrial test plans, and deliver all tests means necessary to test our products.

The Test Bench Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of products through the design, development, and maintenance of test bench systems. By leveraging automation, instrumentation, and data analysis techniques, the Test Bench Engineer contributes to efficient and effective testing processes, ultimately supporting the delivery of high-quality products to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Facility team activities in terms of planning, workload and priorities in accordance with industrial projects plans.
  • Define test strategy, requirements, plans in collaboration with design and industrial teams.
  • Design and develop test benches, including vacuum chambers, instrumentation and data management interfaces accordingly.
  • Follow all tests equipment development projects and ensure delivery.
  • Support technically facility team in development of tests means.
  • Improve tests means development processes in term of planning, documentation, validation, configuration management.
  • Improve test means precision and accuracy to guarantee correctness of measurement.
  • Implement test automation solutions, improve repeatability, and reduce manual intervention in the testing process.
  • Integrate test bench systems with test management software or databases to store test data, generate test reports, and track test results.
  • Maintain test bench systems, including hardware upgrades, software updates, and calibration activities, to ensure ongoing reliability and performance.
  • Provide technical support to test engineers or technicians, troubleshoot test bench issues, implement corrective actions, and verify effectiveness of solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in test processes, equipment, or procedures, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Preferred Experience 💁‍♀️

  • Master Degree in Mecatronic, Fluidic, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in test bench design such as vacuum chambers, mechatronic benches, electronic circuits, instrumentations, automatize benches
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, LabVIEW, PLC programming languages for test automation and scripting.
  • Familiar with industry standards and protocols, such as IEEE, CAN, I2C, RS232, USB and Ethernet, PROFINET, ETHERCAT.
  • Familiar with automated tests equipment plate.
  • Familiar with configuration management and software version control systems.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Experience with statistical analysis tools and techniques for data analysis and process optimization.
