The Opportunity
The SVP, International Sales will be responsible for developing and executing LeoLabs’ global sales strategy to drive revenue growth and expand market penetration in key international regions. This executive leader will build and maintain strategic partnerships, enhance customer engagement, and ensure that LeoLabs remains the trusted provider of orbital intelligence solutions worldwide. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in international sales leadership, a strong understanding of the aerospace and defense industries, and a passion for advancing space security and intelligence.
Responsibilities
· Develop and implement a comprehensive international sales strategy aligned with LeoLabs’ business objectives
· Identify, cultivate, and manage relationships with key customers, including military space commands, civil space agencies, and commercial space operators
· Lead and mentor a high-performing international sales team, driving accountability and results
· Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to inform sales initiatives and business decisions
· Collaborate with product, marketing, and engineering teams to ensure customer needs are met through innovative solutions
· Negotiate contracts and strategic agreements to optimize growth and profitability
· Represent LeoLabs at industry events, trade shows, and government forums to enhance brand visibility and industry leadership
· Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, defense policies, and market-specific legal requirements
· Drive digital and AI-powered sales strategies tailored to regional markets
· Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and customer-centricity within the international sales division
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Aerospace, Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred)
· 15+ years of experience in international sales leadership, preferably in the aerospace, defense, or space technology sectors
· Proven track record of expanding global market presence and driving revenue growth
· Strong network of industry contacts, including government agencies, defense contractors, and commercial space operators
· Expertise in global market trends, regulatory requirements, and strategic sales execution
· Exceptional negotiation, strategic planning, and leadership skills
· Experience managing and developing high-performing sales teams across multiple regions
· Ability to travel internationally as required
· Proficiency in multiple languages is a plus.
