What You'll Do:
As an Account Manager, you will build and maintain relationships with our existing clients. In this role, you will be responsible for growing existing accounts within our Spire’s Maritime product line. Furthermore, you will identify and land key opportunities within your book of business and be responsible for key metrics including retention and renewals. Account Managers have direct responsibility for the performance of the product portfolio, and it is expected that you will easily get a good understanding of the entire external business environment.. Most importantly, you will help raise the bar on the customer experience and that.
- Oversee accounts within Spire's product customer base in our Maritime business unit segment, with a goal structure oriented toward expanding these existing relationships + retention and renewal
- Understand and anticipate clients’ business needs to drive the success of key accounts
- Strengthen client relationships with ongoing communication and new solutions
- Proactively manage customer pipeline to meet monthly and quarterly objectives
- Confidently conveying Spire's value proposition both in-person and via automation
- Assist in collecting client feedback, defining processes, and identifying best practices
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional products/services to meet clients’ evolving needs.
Who You Are:
- 3+ years in a Account Management role, where the primary goal was increasing revenue with existing customers + retention/renewals
- Experience in an Account Manager role at a B2B SaaS company
- Proven track record of generating pipeline, selling to senior stakeholders, and overachieving against quota
- Ability to successfully demo, sell and differentiate products in a highly competitive market
- Demonstrates strong prospecting activity across all channels to drive upsell and cross-sell opportunities through outbound efforts within your books of business
- Proven success breaking into new lines of business to increase revenue with existing customers
- Experience managing complex POCs
- Strong presentation skills, business acumen, and credibility with C-level executives
- Comfortable managing a sales cycle through a CRM and maintains up-to-date and accurate deal status and forecast
- Natural curiosity and consultative communication approach
- Self-starter, strong sense of urgency, good follow-through and sense of ownership
