Job description
Duties
- Provide administrative support for the acquisition, assignment, and utilization of space within the organization (including design of office layouts and work areas).
- Assist with the design, layout, illustration, or other related services in connection with the printing of an organization's publications, periodicals, briefing charts, and other information or reference materials.
- Support the management of administrative property including record maintenance, periodic inventories, depreciation accounts, repair cost analysis, disposal of excess property, and obtaining accountability releases for lost or stolen items.
- Contribute to the improvement and simplification of reporting requirements through analyses of data reported, analyses of the requirements and methods for preparation of reports, and assuring that reporting requirements are met.
- Help develop and install systems for control of the location, arrangement, access to, and use of files; for maintenance, transfer, and disposition of records; for development of reference indices; and for provision of similar or related services.
- Assist with the planning and scheduling of foreign and domestic travel itineraries as needed; arrange for government or commercial transportation of personnel and property, and other services related to official travel and transportation.

Qualifications
To qualify for GS-11, you must have:
a) One year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 level:
- Providing property management support such as coordinating moves, inventories, surveys, transfers, etc.;
- Assisting with space allocation efforts by tracking on-boarding and off-boarding of employees, interns, and/or internal moves;
- Making purchases as a P-Card holder and maintaining accurate records according to current requirements.
b) Completed all requirements for a doctoral degree (i.e., Ph.D. or equivalent) in an appropriate field
OR
c) Completed 3 full academic years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. degree or equivalent doctoral degree in an appropriate field
OR
d) LL.M., if related
OR
e) Have an equivalent combination of experience and graduate study as discussed in a), b), c) and d) above

If you are a current federal employee, you must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible for this position. To be eligible, you must have completed a minimum of 52 weeks in a position no more than 2 grades lower than the advertised position. If your eligibility for both merit promotion and/or time-in-grade cannot be determined, your application will be rated ineligible.)
