Job Description:

Telespazio is looking for a resource to join our Telemetry team to carry out a thesis internship in the following area:

             

• Modulation & demodulation, coding & decoding and techniques of RF signals transmitted and received for telecommunications and remote sensing satellites.

Starting Epoch:                          

• March 1st 2025 (6 months)

Activity:                          

• Analysis of signals theory and technologies associated to the TT&C and Remote Sensing Services using for different Modulation, Coding and Data Rate, with the aim of

developing a software tool for link budget computation, with special focus on Lunar Satellite Missions.

Title:

• Development of a tool for Ground to Space Link Budget Computation for several satellites services, with a specific analysis on Lunar Missions

Skills:

• Solid knowledge of Ground Station design, architecture and TT&C communication protocols

• Good knowledge of OS (Windows and Linux) and MS suite (especially for Exel and Access)

• Familiarity with software programming languages (e.g.: Java, Matlab, Python etc)

• Basic knowledge of Ground to Satellite Signal Link Budget;

• Basic knowledge of Signal Theory (modulations with Sub-Carrier and direct PCM, Bit and Frame Coding);

• Familiarity with ECSS and CCSDS (Blue Books) Standards.
