Our HW design team in Gorgonzola is looking for a Electronic HW Design Engineer to join them and take responsibility for the HW design and validation for various space equipments.

Key duties:

You will be part of a team including HW and VLSI design engineers. Your duties will include:

  • Definition and follow-on of electronic boards development and validation plans
  • Digital and/or analog and mixed signal circuit design, simulation, analysis and test using CAD tools for the following functions on board of space satellites:
  • Satellite on-board platform computers
  • Mass Memories
  • Scientific instruments Control Units
  • Support to integration and validation activities ofthedevelopedHW onthetargetsystem with other components and software
  • Preparation of design documentation according to ECSS applicable standards

You will interface the customer and suppliers and you will collaborate with other Thales Alenia Space departments including project leaders, product lines, industrial engineering, manufacturing and marketing & sales.

Skills, experience and qualifications required:

  • Laurea Magistrale or Master degree
  • Previous work experience
  • Proficient in using the HW design, simulation and modeling tools
  • Attitude to read, understand and write technical documentation (requirements, specifications, reports, analyses, etc)
  • Well acquainted with the basic characteristics of digital and analog electronics
  • have the capability to work in a dynamic work atmosphere where he needs to be cooperative with the other members of the team
  • Able to manage multiple tasks at one time
  • Attitude to problem solving and to achieve results within time and cost constraints
  • Good knowledge of English in writing and speaking
