The Position:

The quality assurance auditor is accountable as the internal auditor for any certification/qualifications maintained by the company. 

Job Requirements:

  • Prepares and conducts audit training for all QA roles (successful trainees may be delegated tasks as defined below)
  • Prepare audit plan and schedule audits
  • Internal Auditor: Compiles audit checklists, performs and/or directs internal audits and process confirmation checks.
  • Populates NCR system with findings and tracks/reports status to closure. QA may act as MRB Chair on audit NCRs (only).
  • Prepare and compile audit reports.
  • Monitor and follow up outstanding actions to ensure proper and timely closure of non-conformances found as a result of audits.
  • Supplier Auditor: Compiles audit checklists; performs and/or directs supplier in-house audits. Prepares and maintains detailed reports and identifies any findings against suppliers.


Job Required Skills/Abilities:

  • External auditor certification must be maintained for this role
  • Graduation from an Institute of Technology or equivalent with courses in subjects related to manufacturing and quality techniques, applicable to Aerospace and/or manufacturing industry.
  • Should have ten years’ experience in the Quality Assurance field as applicable to auditing as per AS9100/ISO9001. 
  • Must take ownership and accountability for the execution of quality processes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills using data and reports
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
  • Meticulous records maintenance skills
  • Must be able to follow process and identify gaps
  • Able to build and maintain lasting relationship with other departments

Comments/Special Considerations:

Successful candidates must obtain and hold security clearance at the reliability status level, and pass security assessment for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP) and ITAR.

Salary:

The compensation for this position is $111,780.24 annually.
