Duties
- Leads a team that delivers services to customers in the areas of performance management, awards and recognition, and training and development, and Pathways.
- Defines technical work requirements and milestones.
- Evaluates the organization and employee accomplishments by evaluating work products.
- Develops Human Resources programs and strategic planning to facilitate the accomplishment of organizational goals and objectives to promote continuous improvement and enhanced customer service.
- Provides employees resources and information that insures a safe and healthy work environment.
- Performs a full range of supervisory duties which includes assigning and evaluating work; recommending personnel actions; taking disciplinary actions; and identifying training needs and developing employees.

Requirements
Conditions of Employment
- Current Federal employees must meet qualifications, time in grade, and 90 days after competitive appointment requirements by the closing date of the announcement.
- A one-year supervisory probationary period may be required.
Qualifications
To qualify at the GS-15 level, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level:
- Serving as a technical expert in at least two of the following human resources functions: (1) awards and recognition, (2) performance management, or (3) training and development;
- Developing and recommending long range Human Resources programs and strategic planning to facilitate the accomplishment of organizational goals and objectives resulting in a culture of continuous improvement and enhanced customer service;
- Leading, managing or directing the work of a team to ensure the delivery of high-quality products that meet deadlines and follow established protocols.
