Within the frame of our fast-growing Industrial Project development, we are looking for a Senior Project Buyer on our site of Massy (91).

Position Overview:

A Project Buyer is responsible for all sourcing, purchasing and managing materials required for a specific project in accordance with Industrial Strategies. Integrated in the Project team, the buyer defines purchasing strategy and plan linked to program Schedule, quality target and budget. He ensures that all necessary resources are acquired within budgetary constraints and delivered on time to support project timeline and objectives. He collaborates closely with project managers, industrial leaders, suppliers and internal stakeholders to source, negotiate and establish contracts, monitor supplier performance and optimize procurement processes to meet project goals effectively.

Your main tasks will be: 💁‍♀️

1.Purchasing strategy : define and regularly update the purchasing strategy in order to respond to changing technical needs and PRF ambitions.

2.Search for and select suppliers corresponding to the technical, industrial and qualitative needs of the project, manage the input/output panel. Sign framework contracts / CGA and amendments with suppliers

3.During development phase: Organize and plan all purchasing activities in accordance with the project master schedule (suppliers' consultation and selection phases, material and resource forecast). Collaborate with engineering and industrial teams to ensure that technical and industrial requirements are integrated into supplier specifications and quality requirements. Assess suppliers' risks.

4.Manage and monitor suppliers’ quality, costs and deadlines (QCD). Establish and maintain a strong supplier relationship during the development phase, ensuring effective communication and rapid resolution of any issues.

5.Manage and optimize BOM cost analysis to achieve industrial objectives. Negotiate prices, terms and contracts with suppliers to ensure profitability and alignment with the project budget.

6.Conduct regular supplier assessments and implement improvement plans to increase their performance and reliability. Collaborate with Industrialization, Supply Chain and Quality to define the right processes and level of control with suppliers.

7.Define all parameters and integrate them into the production database with the supply chain. Work with the internal supply chain to ensure continuity of parts purchases for production.

8.Identify process improvement opportunities and implement necessary changes to increase overall efficiency.

Preferred Qualification and Experience 💁‍♀️

•Degree in Purchasing, Engineering or a related field.

•Proven experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management in a technical project-based environment.

•Strong negotiation skills and the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

•Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on cost management and process optimization.

•Familiarity with ERP systems and other procurement-related software solutions.

•Solid understanding of procurement best practices, contract management, and supply chain principles.

•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and departments.

•Knowledge of international trade regulations and import/export procedures is a plus

•Mastery of professional English (exchanges with foreign suppliers)

•Office tools (Office Pack)
