The SalesDepartment at Latitude builds strategic partnerships with satellite manufacturers to establish strong relationships prior to securing launch contracts. A key aspect of these partnerships involves conducting CAD fit-checks to ensure compatibility of satellites within our rocket fairing. This process begins when satellite manufacturers provide dimensions or STEP files of their satellites, enabling Latitude to design the optimal configuration between the satellite(s),the separation system, and the fairing.

Responsibilities

Tasks and missions

- Create CAD models of satellites based on dimensions, drawing or retrieve the step files

- Create CAD models of separation systems based on dimensions, drawings or retrieve the step files.

- Manage the CAD of Zephyr’s fairing

- Create the fairing accommodation between satellites, separation systems and the fairing

- Propose evolutions of the Zephyr’s fairing based on the results of the accommodations.

- Update the document gathering all the CAD fit-checks

Preferred experience and skills

As a trainee,you will gain hands-on experience with CAD software, refining your 3D modelingskills through real-world applications. This role offers the chance to deepenyour understanding of satellite integration under rocket fairings and thefunctioning of separation systems. You will also broaden your knowledge of thespace industry, particularly in relation to rocket fairing and satellitemanufacturers.

On the professional development side, youwill benefit from constructive feedback from both the Sales and Structural& Mechanical Systems departments, enhancing your written and oralpresentation abilities. Your assignments will involve collaborating closelywith cross-functional teams, which will aid your integration into the companyculture and provide insight into the dynamics of a Sales Department within theaerospace sector.
