Position Overview (Summary/Objective):

This is a year-round rotational position with the ARKA Accounting Organization starting Fall 2024.  This position requires a minimum of 20 hours during the school semester and full-time during school breaks.  In this position you will support the team in the following areas:

  • Accounts Payable, General Ledger and SAP Integration Testing.

You will gain exposure to various parts of the organization as the position will require you to interface with staff from variance departments, including Program Finance and Business Management as well as Supply Chain.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Vendor Invoice Reconciliation
  • Support month-end closing activities and reporting
  • Prepare monthly account reconciliations
  • Support Budget & Cost Analysis
  • Integration Testing for SAP

 

Requirements: 

  • Rising Sophomore or Junior working towards a degree in Accounting

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong Excel skills (V Lookup, Pivot Tables, Formulas, etc.)
  • Ability to work effectively in team environment
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills.

    EHS/Environmental Requirements:

    This job operates in a professional office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee routinely is required to use hands to keyboard, communicate, listen to, and interpret instructions and remain stationary for extended periods of the time. This would require the ability to move around the campus and occasionally move/lift items weighing up to 25 lbs.     ITC & Security Clearance Requirements:

    This position requires the incumbent to access export-controlled information. If you are not a US Person, any offer is contingent upon the Company's ability to obtain a special license granting you access. This could take several months. You will not be able to begin employment until such license is obtained.
