About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

Support team member benefits administration throughout the employment life cycle as well as assisting during annual enrollment
Control detailed and sensitive benefit information and responsible for reviewing data for accuracy and completion
Support team members across multiple states and work as the liaison between insurance company representatives and team members which involves researching both team member and provider issues
Assist with the reconciliation of carrier/vendor invoicing, ongoing reporting, and compliance requirements
Assist with leave of absence requests/administration to include FMLA and ADA as well as general 401(k) Plan questions
Present benefit plan information in new team member orientation and as needed across the organization

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a related field and 0 - 2 years or more of related work experience
Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of required education

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in one or more - HR, Benefits, Retirement Plans, Leave Administration, ADA or related work
Strong computer literacy with experience in Microsoft Word and Excel
Experience with Workday HR management system
Knowledge of DoD, government contracting and/or public auditing, policies, standards, and procedures

Sierra Space offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.

Estimated Starting Salary Range:

$59,935.70 - $82,411.59
