ispace Technologies, US. is a looking for a highly motivated and talented Executive Vice President of Human Resources to join its new team.
Reporting directly to the CEO, the EVP of HR will lead and execute all Talent (HR) initiatives, programs, outcomes that encompass talent attraction, engagement, and retention. This hands-on role is responsible for fostering talent outcomes consistent with the core values, culture, and purpose of ispace. This multifaceted position will oversee and develop the HR function to eliminate inefficiency and help move the organization to the next level of a maturity model during a time of transformation and growth. This role will be instrumental in shaping and implementing people and talent strategies that will help the company to maintain, develop, build, and accelerate a high-performing team and become known as an employer of choice. As EVP of HR, this individual will need to create and lead the HR function, monitor progress, set deliverables, solve issues, ensure stakeholder (employee, leadership, investor et al) satisfaction, and evaluate function’s performance. When there is a knowledge deficit or skill gap within a vertical or organization, this leader will create and drive the necessary HR programs or policies forward to adoption, integration, automation, risk mitigation, and enterprise success.
Key Responsibilities
- Works with senior leaders in supporting the development of a high performing workforce by working with all levels of employees to identify, motivate, develop, and retain top talent associates throughout the organization.
- Collaborates with internal clients/leaders, identifies best practices, and utilizes company tools, resources, and programs in developing recommendations for, and implementing a variety of talent management (HR) initiatives including talent assessment, succession planning, skill and competency development, leadership development and employee engagement all fortifying culture.
- Executes, creates, and/or builds upon existing performance programs (e.g., talent reviews, performance review processes, employee engagement, leadership development); and identifies opportunities to solidify existing talent and build strong leadership bench-strength.
- Ensures an integrated talent management approach.
- Create and refresh culture programs throughout the organization to assist in enhancing employee engagement and building a strong employer brand.
- Work with leaders to support improvement plans and interventions where opportunities have been identified (Employee Relations).
- Creates a plan to incorporate DEIB principles (Diversity Equity Inclusion Belonging).
- Serves as Total Rewards partner; compensation and benefits strategies enabling the organization's ability to attract and retain top talent, while managing external resources and vendors for optimization.
- Monitors return on investment with regards to learning strategy and strives for continuous improvement.
- Participates in the implementation and on-going support of the HR technology implementation and future improvement/maintenance.
- Ensure these strategies are fully integrated across the delivery of HR programs and initiatives at the organization.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or related study. We will consider an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience .
- 15+ years in HR, management consulting, communications, and other support functions as part of career development education/experience may be considered as equivalent.
- Executive level (Director +) industry experience, preferably in energy, aerospace, or emerging tech a plus.
- Typically, 15+ years of relevant Talent (HR) Leadership experience, 10+ years demonstrated experience in leading people function.
- 5+ years start-up environment leadership experience.
- PHR/SPHR certification; active or inactive.
- Knowledge of space competitors and markets.
- Tech savvy and experience with writing/editing HR policies, standards, procedures.
- Experience in a variety of top HRIS systems/technologies and implementation.
- Project Management experience for start-up, hands-on environment.
- Autonomy, Empathy, Ambiguity, Agility, Leadership, Execution and Drives for Results, as key behaviors and competencies
- Experience working for Aerospace/Space Prime or sub-contractor strongly preferred
Additional Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced design and development environment
- Schedule may vary depending on program development needs; flexibility required
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive salary based upon experience - $230,000-$250,000. The salary posted is a targeted range for budget of position. Base compensation can be negotiated and will be commensurate with experience, skills, education, and training.
