As a Contract Talent Acquisition Partner, you will be essential in helping meet Sierra Space’s growing demand to hire top talent. You'll be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, interviewing, and presenting candidates for a wide variety and level of positions and for promoting a work environment that openly embraces individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences. You will be responsible for guiding candidates and hiring managers through the Sierra Space selection process and maintaining excellent relationships with hiring managers, candidates, and the community at large. You will partner closely with HRBP’s, Hiring Managers and other key stakeholders to create deep sourcing strategies to fill open positions quickly with exceptional talent.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop effective sourcing strategies and techniques using combination of direct sourcing, social recruiting, referrals, and other relevant passive recruitment methods.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand skills and background required for each opportunity, providing expert advice, and coaching throughout the recruitment process.
  • Promote strategic ideas and works closely with business leadership to impact talent strategies and recruiting processes based on business demand.
  • Actively use all recruitment channels to form a knowledge base of where to find best candidates for each role to consistently generate a healthy pipeline of high-quality candidates.
  • Facilitate an exceptional candidate journey from first engagement with Sierra Space through offer and or decline
  • Conduct in-depth interviews of potential candidates, demonstrating ability to anticipate hiring manager preferences through high interview to offer ratios.
  • In partnership with the hiring manager, prepare interview team for specific areas to focus on in interviews and subsequently facilitate post onsite interview debrief discussions.
  • In partnership with Talent Acquisition Manager, Compensation team and hiring managers, prepare attractive hiring packages, negotiate salaries, and facilitate closing offers.

About You

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as a full cycle recruiter with a focus on technical and other roles, at all levels.
  • Possess recruiting knowledge and basic understanding of business groups operations and knowledge of overall recruiting strategies.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute passive and active sourcing strategies for multiple, concurrent searches including the use of LinkedIn, job boards, employee referrals, and creative alternative resources
  • Experience identifying user groups and professional associations which could lead to qualified candidates.
  • Ability to builds and maintain a network of potential candidates through market research and on-going relationship management.
  • Ability to proactively manage talent pipelines and candidate experiences by consulting leaders.
  • Ability to produce and utilize data to influence decisions throughout the recruiting lifecycle.
  • Experience with technical recruiting including IT, Cybersecurity and Engineering
  • Experience in the aerospace and defense industry
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with social media recruitment tools
  • Experience with Workday ATS
  • Experience with Candidate Relationship Management Systems (CRM)
  • Experience with salary negotiation and closing candidates
  • Demonstrated consultative and solution-oriented approach to recruiting
  • Experience working in a service focused organization of comparable size and complexity

Additional Requirements:

  • Frequently walk, sit, stand, climb stairs and steps

  • Frequently repeat same hand, arm, and finger motion many times to include finger and hand dexterity

  • Frequently requires hearing abilities to include discerning different tones and volumes

  • Rarely lifting or carrying up to 20 lbs.



Working Conditions:

  • Rarely exposed to outdoor elements (high/low temperatures, sun, rain/snow, etc.)

  • Rarely exposed to fumes or hazardous chemicals/materials

  • Rarely exposed to loud noises
