As a Senior Program Planning/Scheduling Analyst, you will work in a cross-functional team collaborating with the business leaders and delivering real-time solutions to our clients. You will interface with program management, finance, internal/external customers, functional leads, engineering, operations and control account managers (CAMs) to drive program execution. 

This role will give you exposure within the aerospace industry and promote career growth within the field. In this role you will experience working on programs that involve high precision optics and electronics used in space as well as ground-based threat detection warning systems. A passion for organization, close attention to detail, and an analytical mindset are some of the most important skills needed in this role. To succeed as a planning/scheduling analyst, you will use your interpersonal skills to collaborate in a team environment, communicate effectively and manage deadline driven tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and maintenance of the Program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) deliverables in accordance with the Data Item Description (DID) / Statement of Work (SOW)
  • Lead daily/weekly program meetings to obtain status and/or develop and implement schedule recovery plans to ensure the program meets its milestones/commitments
  • Maintain schedule integrity in compliance with DCMA requirements
  • Integrate cost/schedule, Baseline and Change Control Management
  • Implement Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
  • Incorporate WBS hierarchies within IMS
  • Obtain and communicate program status, risks, and opportunities with key stake holders
  • Active participant in proposal activities
  • Experience with an Integrated Baseline Review
  • Participate in the negotiation of contracts, contract changes, specifications, budgets, schedule milestones, and key terms and conditions

 

Education/Certifications

  • 7+ years planning/scheduling experience with BA/BS degree and/or equivalent experience

 

Experience/Qualifications

  • Ability to obtain a US Government Security Clearance
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Project software, Microsoft Project Server a plus
  • Ability to execute the principles, theories, and concepts of scheduling 
  • Ability to create Summary Schedules. Milestones Professional preferred
  • Ability to perform/report on Schedule Risk Analysis (Monte Carlo Simulations)
  • Demonstrated ability to perform Critical Path Analysis
  • Experience with Risk Management within IMS
  • Experience with managing Supplier Schedules
  • Familiar with Integrated Baseline Review
  • Experience with using SAP or Equivalent Software
