Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Poland Sp. z o.o. is seeking a Project Engineer – Boeing Defense & Space to join the team located in Rzeszow, Poland.

The Project Engineer will act as multi-skill Boeing Poland technical interface for Boeing Defense & Space organization, co-developing Scope of Work, project planning, execution and monitoring, reporting to Boeing Poland BDS Leader. The person in this role will be responsible for technical development of Boeing Poland BDS engineering team, building relations with skill and technical leaders, planning technical trainings, building and maintaining skill matrix, assuring technical capability for the team to accommodate growing level of technical responsibility, access to the Boeing processes, tools and systems, supporting the team during technical reviews, act as internal checker and approver of technical deliverables.

Position Responsibilities:

• Provide engineering leadership to a team representing multiple skill areas, which may include internal and external resources and customers.
• Development of statement of work (SOW) to satisfy research and development, ongoing and new business requirements, work with customers and management to obtain their approval.
• Leading studies/analysis (trend, variance, impact), reports, risk assessments and planning efforts to determine impacts, constraints involving product development, production rates, process improvement, program initiatives.
• Identification and managing changes to statement of work, assessing the impact of those changes, incorporating changes into statement of work, negotiating proposed changes to determine modifications to the deliverables, resources, costs and schedules.
• project execution to complete the work statement. Identification of performance metrics. Planning, identification and coordination of resources required over the life of the project or program.
• Assigning responsibility for activities to team members and ensures technical correctness and consistency of products and services.
• Directing proposal development to complete the work statement. Comparing actual results to baseline plan to assess project performance, efficiencies, productivity and lessons learned.
• Identification of corrective actions to improve project or team performance.
• Providing technical, business and integration leadership for the development and execution of project or team plans, working under consultative direction.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Degree in a related field of study (aerospace, mechanical engineering) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years of experience managing projects and using standard project management tools.
• 3+ years of experience presenting to employees, customers, peers and all levels of leadership.
• 3+ years of experience working within a cross-functional interpersonal environment.
• Demonstrates good problem-solving skills and critical thinking.
• Solid communicator, fluent in both written and verbal English.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• PMP or equivalent Program Management certificate.

The individual will be required to obtain clearance for work under military concession (in Poland, regulated by act of 13 June 2019 on conducting business activities in the field of manufacturing and trading in explosives, weapons, ammunition and products and technology for military or police purposes).
