The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager of Manufacturing Engineering to lead our Manufacturing Engineering team in the development, implementation, and maintenance of efficient and effective manufacturing processes. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Manufacturing Engineering, a proven track record of leadership, and excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Leadership: Lead a team of Manufacturing Engineers and provide guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure the team is equipped to meet business objectives.
2. Manufacturing Process Development: Develop, implement, and maintain manufacturing processes that meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
3. Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and lead cross-functional teams to implement changes that increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
4. Capital Project Management: Manage capital projects related to manufacturing equipment, tooling, and facilities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet business objectives.
5. Technology Development: Stay up-to-date with emerging manufacturing technologies and assess their potential application in our manufacturing operations.
6. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Quality, and Engineering, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
7. Problem-Solving: Analyze and resolve complex manufacturing problems, using data-driven approaches and lean principles.
8. Budgeting and Cost Control: Develop and manage budgets for Manufacturing Engineering projects and activities, ensuring cost-effective solutions that meet business objectives.
9. Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies related to manufacturing operations.
10. Performance Metrics: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure manufacturing performance, including productivity, quality, and delivery metrics.
Job Requirements:
1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
2. Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering, with at least 10 years of leadership experience.
3. Skills:
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, including machining, assembly, and inspection.
• Experience with lean manufacturing principles and techniques.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Ability to analyze complex data sets and make informed decisions.
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM software
• Experience with project management tools, such as MS Project
Successful candidates must obtain and hold security clearance at the reliability status level, and pass security assessment for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP) and ITAR.

The compensation range for this position is $130,000-155,000 annually. The specific compensation offered will be based on the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.
