The Role:

The Planning Analyst plays a critical role in supporting strategic and operational decision-making by providing data-driven insights, forecasts, and plans.  As a key member of the OE team, this position involves gathering and analyzing data, developing models, and preparing reports that inform business strategies, resource allocation, and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

Collect, analyze, and interpret data to support business planning and decision-making, including:

  • Developing forecasting models for sales, demand, capacity, and financial performance
  • Proposing hiring plans based on available reports and data

Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, including:

  • OH status and alignment with AOP
  • CAPEX-related information (ROI, historical data, EAC)

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to:

  • Assess business needs and identify improvement opportunities
  • Follow Continuous Improvement activities and evaluate team engagement through transformation

Monitor performance indicators, highlight trends, and analyze causes of unexpected variance, including:

  • Proposing action plans based on active KPI results
  • Preparing monthly analyses

Support budget and long-term planning processes, including:

  • Analyzing team performance and presenting OH variance against the plan
  • Tracking advancement of CAPEX projects against the Master plan

Scenario Planning and Analysis:

  • Conduct scenario planning and "what-if" analysis to evaluate business options and maintain data integrity, updating databases and planning tools as needed.

Strategic Planning and Mitigation:

  • Maintain the Strategic plan and propose mitigation plans to meet financial and schedule objectives.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in a planning, financial, or business analyst role.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Language: Bilingual in French and English.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Enterprise Systems Experience: Experience with ERP, Sciforma systems.
  • Experience in business transformation.
  • Change management knowledge (ADKAR).

 

Successful candidates must obtain and hold security clearance at the reliability status level, and pass security assessment for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP) and ITAR.

The compensation range for this position is $80,000 - $95,000 annually. The specific compensation offered will be based on the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.
