We have an opening for a DevOps Engineer to join our GSMS team located in Redondo Beach, CA. In this role, you will join a group of DevOps engineers in designing, deploying compute environments leveraging Infrastructure as Code. You will develop scripts w/ tools such as Ansible, Terraform or Puppet to provision ground virtualized resources. The scripts will automate the deployment of VMware, Cisco, Windows and Redhat Linux platforms to include their backend storage (such as NetApp). The ideal candidate should have experience with automation techniques and their revision controls.

Basic Qualifications:

• 2 years of relevant experience with Bachelors; 0 years with Masters
• Active SCI/CI Poly required at the time of application
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code automation such as Ansible
• Experience with RHEL

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with DevSecOps tools (especially Jenkins and Nexus)
• Experience using Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket)
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management
• Ability to share knowledge with the team by creating documentation and training
• Operating Systems certifications such as AWS practitioner or Cisco CCNA

Salary Range: $89,400.00 - $134,200.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
