Northrop Grumman is currently seeking a Supply Chain Technical Coordinator 3 or 4, to join our Launch & Missile Defense Systems - Launch Vehicles team in Promontory, UT.  Join the Space revolution and make the impossible, possible. #definingpossible

    Due to the sensitive nature of our work this is a fully on-site position; hybrid or remote work is not available.

    The Supply Chain Technical Coordinator 3 or 4 supports and assists activities within multiple disciplines across the Supply Chain process.

    The successful candidate:

    • Provides technical, tactical and execution support in various aspects of the industry standard supply chain business process areas primarily Supply Chain Manufacturing and Supply Chain Logistics, as well as Supply Chain Business Operations.

    • Loads, unloads, and conveys materials within or near plant, yard, or work site, and performs a combination of tasks under specific direction which may include shipping and/or receiving.

    • Opens containers using hand tools; counts and weighs materials and records information.

    • Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks and machines by hand; loads or unloads materials into or from trucks by hand.

    • Conveys materials using hand truck, forklift, or other devices; stacks or assembles materials; aids machine operators by lifting heavy objects by hand or by use of power hoist.

    • Works closely with the Production Controller to obtain daily duties from Material Analysts.

    • Pulls kits and verifies quantities and part numbers.

    • Wraps and packs kits to send to offsite locations.

    • Excel and Word would be required.

    This position may be filled as a Level 3 or Level 4.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Level 3 = High School diploma or equivalent and 4 year’s additional education and/or related experience.

    • Level 4 = High School diploma or equivalent and 6 years additional education and/or related experience.

    • Forklift experience

    • Receiving, warehousing or shipping experience,

    • Ability to lift 30 lbs and perform physical work for 8 hours.

    • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance, which typically requires US Citizenship. Personnel without an active DoD Secret Security Clearance will have a Security Clearance Investigation initiated within 14 days of acceptance of job offer. Failure to obtain clearance will result in termination or non-hire.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope

    • Experience with sit down and stand up lifts

    • Experience with an ERP systems

    • Experience shipping regulated materials

    • Knowledge of 49 CFR Shipping regulations preferred but not required

    Salary Range: $47,000.00 - $78,300.00Salary Range 2: $55,800.00 - $93,000.00

    The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

    Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
