We are seeking a Test Engineer Technician for our Deployables Operating Unit located in our Oxnard, CA facility.
This position may be filled at either a Level 3 or Level 4.

Overview
Reporting to the Test Engineering Manager, the Test Engineering Technician 2 will be responsible for the execution of test procedures, as well as performing post-test data processing and reporting to engineers. The qualified candidate will have ownership of their work through all phases of product development, production, testing, and integration supporting internal and external teams as required.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide test and technical support to engineers on a variety of technical tasks.
Execute comprehensive component and system-level test plans, procedures, and test events
Participate in test planning and test readiness reviews
Analyze measurement requirements and equipment measurement tolerances.
Define and maintain documented best practices for test processes and equipment.
Contribute to maintaining and improving test equipment and infrastructure.
Gathers, maintains, formats, compiles, and manipulates technical data, such as component and systems-level test results and engineering design changes.
Conduct tests and record data to assist with engineering evaluation or analysis.
Maintains engineering documentation and reports (procedures and test reports)
Support internal and external customers’ needs.
Identify, troubleshoot, and solve test problems and aid manufacturing, inspection, and engineering issues.
Analyze data and provide reports in a variety of customer formats.
Basic Qualifications for a Level 3:
High school diploma or GED and at least 4+ years experience working in a technical or engineering environment
Knowledge of GD&T with the ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
Experience working with Microsoft Office products Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook
Availability to work overtime, evenings and weekends as needed
Must be able to work on feet for extended periods of time and have the ability to manipulate equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
US Citizenship required
Basic Qualifications for a Level 4:
High school diploma or GED and at least 6+ years experience working in a technical or engineering environment , or in a lead capacity
Advanced knowledge of GD&T with the ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
Experience using a laser trackers for inspection and validation of testing tools and flight hardware
Experience working with Microsoft Office products Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook
Availability to work overtime, evenings and weekends as needed
Must be able to work on feet for extended periods of time and have the ability to manipulate equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
US Citizenship required
Preferred Qualifications:
Associates degree or Certification in Engineering
Familiarity with working around delicate spacecraft hardware is an advantage
Experience using a laser trackers for inspection and validation of testing tools and flight hardware
Experienced working in Cleanroom and Environmental Test Area environments
