Northrop Grumman is seeking an Associate Pathways Business Management Analyst. This position will be located at Irving, Texas, Redondo Beach, California, Bloomington, Minnesota or Falls Church, Virginia. This role will allow for part time telework. In-person requirement of a minimum of two days a week. This position will be in the Pathways rotational program where there will be three rotation opportunities.

The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s General Accounting (GA) organization. GA consists of approximately 30 accountants and supports the four operating sectors (AS, DS, MS, and Space), and Corporate providing support in disciplines including, the closing of accounting periods, Intercompany, International, and projects.  We routinely interact with and support each Sector and the Corporate office as well as partner with other hES Sector functions to help gain process efficiencies.

  

Roles and Responsibilities will include, but not limited to: 

  • Participates in accounting close activities including, but not limited to:
    • Posting journal entries;
    • Analyzing financial results and account balances; and
    • Systematically opening and closing of accounting periods.
  • Prepares accounting reconciliations
  • Performs intercompany accounting including, but not limited to:
    • Tie outs of intercompany balances with domestic and international entities;
    • Performing Intercompany invoicing;
    • Posting journal entries; and
    • Performing general ledger account reconciliations.
  • Prepares (non-intercompany) general ledger account reconciliations including, but not limited to:
    • Research and resolving outstanding items;
    • Joining special projects teams for clean-up efforts; and
    • Ad hoc assignments as needed.
  • Perform data analytics to streamline and automate processes.
  • Supports projects and system enhancements.

Basic Qualifications: 

A candidate must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:

  • Be completing or has completed their degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) from an accredited institution and majoring in Business Management or related discipline
  • Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 or higher (unofficial academic transcripts must be provided at time of application by uploading the documents to your application or profile)
  • US citizenship


Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.70/4.0 or higher

Salary Range: (58,400 - 89,400)
