Role Description
We are seeking highly motivated Electrical Engineering Interns for Summer 2025 to work on cutting-edge aerospace and advanced electrical systems. This internship provides hands-on experience in designing, testing, and integrating electrical and avionics components for aircraft, satellites, and other aerospace applications. Interns will collaborate with experienced engineers on real-world projects, gaining invaluable industry experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, development, and testing of electrical systems, circuit boards, and wiring harnesses.
- Develop schematics and PCB layouts using ECAD tools (e.g., Altium, Eagle, KiCad).
- Support power electronics, signal processing, and control system development.
- Conduct circuit analysis, simulation, and debugging of electrical hardware.
- Assist with wiring harness design and integration into aerospace systems.
- Perform electrical testing, including oscilloscope measurements, power analysis, and EMI testing.
- Work with cross-functional teams, including mechanical and software engineers, to ensure proper system integration.
- Document test results, design updates, and process improvements.
Qualifications:
- Must be enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in engineering or physics in Junior or Senior year.
- 3+ months of ACTIVE experience on applying technical skills outside of the classroom such as SAE, CubeSat, and/or aerospace projects.
- Strong electrical technical foundation such as Circuits, Signals, Power Systems, and Microcontrollers.
- Ability to work consecutively for at least 12 weeks.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with embedded systems and microcontrollers.
- Understanding of power electronics and motor control.
- Hands on PCB fabrication, soldering, and prototyping.
Compensation and Benefits:
- $30 - $35/hr
