Role Description

We are seeking passionate and driven Mechanical Engineering Interns to join our team for Summer 2025. This internship provides hands-on experience in designing, testing, and optimizing aerospace and mechanical systems. Interns will work alongside experienced engineers on real-world projects that contribute to cutting-edge aircraft, satellites, and aerospace components.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design and analysis of mechanical components and systems for aerospace applications.
  • Develop and update CAD models, technical drawings, and engineering documentation.
  • Support manufacturing, assembly, and testing processes to validate designs.
  • Assist in writing test procedures, collecting data, and analyzing results.
  • Work with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality, and design, to improve product performance and reliability.
  • Participate in hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving for engineering challenges.
  • Research and evaluate new materials, processes, and technologies for potential implementation.

 

Qualifications:

  • Must be enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in engineering or physics in Junior or Senior year.
  • 3+ months of ACTIVE experience on applying technical skills outside of the classroom such as SAE, CubeSat, and/or aerospace projects.
  • Strong mechanical technical foundation such as Statics and Mechanics of Materials.
  • Ability to work consecutively for at least 12 weeks.

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with CATIA or NX
  • Familiarity with additive manufacturing (3D printing) and advanced materials.

 

Compensation and Benefits:

  • $30 - $35/hr
  • Daily lunch and unlimited Celsius.
