About the Role
Are you passionate about leading a technical team to deliver capabilities for the Nation, and looking for your next career move into a collaborative and supportive cross-functional environment? We have a great opportunity for you! As a Sr Program Manager in the AI&T group, you will be using your skills and expertise to integrate space solutions from our Defense organization into existing and new/emerging ground solutions from our Customers. You will be crucial in coordinating system level requirements decomposition, defining verification and validation actives, and ensuring test events are successfully executed across simulated and flight platforms to deliver operational capabilities to our Customers.You will be the driver to ensure the System that Sierra Space delivers, meets the Mission the Customer has envisioned. You will coordinate with our USG and Prime Customers to ensure satellite programs are integrated with Enterprise architectures and test objectives are defined and met.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's of Science degree in STEM or related discipline and typically 10 or more years of relevant experience
- Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
- Experience with Space & Ground System Integration and Test campaigns for Defense programs
- Proven track record of leading technical teams in the aerospace industry
- Experience with satellite systems and subsystems and ground systems
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams
- Excellent project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
- Ability to lead and manage the integration of the system from inception to launch, ensuring the test campaign is executed on time, within scope, and within budget
- Experience with complex aerospace systems engineering functions such as requirement decomposition
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Active TS/SCI Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Typically 14+ years of related experience in AI&T
- Master's in Engineering or Management, or a related field
- Experience with USG Defense satellite ground systems, networks, and interfaces
- Experience with simulators and hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) platforms, including HW infrastructure and network connectivity
- Managing projects requiring Earned Value Management
- Ability to keep program management informed of function & process changes within project controls.
- Ability to enhance program management expertise in the staff
- Ability to establish new & further refining existing templates, tools, & guidelines for program documentation & execution

Physical/Mental/Emotional Requirements:

Estimated Starting Salary Range:
