Job Overview & Responsibilities

Mechanical & Propulsion Ground SE Leader 6:

  • Developing the strategic roadmap and acquisition strategy for all Mechanical and Propulsion Ground Support Equipment.
  • Lead the team to integrate the non-recurring development, sustaining and launch support aspects of Mechanical and Propulsion Ground Support Equipment.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Vehicle Design and Electrical GSE organizations to provide sound business solutions.
  • Other duties include developing estimates at completes (EAC), contract negotiations, CAM duties and providing status to ULA senior leadership.

Required Education

Bachelor

Required Years of Experience

Minimum of 10 years of related work experience

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field from and accredited college or university
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD SC/SCI clearance. US citizenship is required.
  • Proven technical leadership experience in team collaboration and development.
  • Expertise in project scheduling, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Hands-on experience with electro-mechanical and fluid systems.
  • Experience in system integration, testing, production, and launch operations.
  • Experience in developing technical and cost proposals.
  • Knowledge of CAM processes and program management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills in team management with expertise in reviewing and providing feedback on complex engineering documents.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with senior leadership and customers.
  • Skilled in resolving complex cross-organizational challenges and conflicts.
  • Strong experience in coaching, mentoring, and talent development.
  • Strong communication skills for briefing senior leaders and customers.

Summary Salary Range (for ULA - Cape Canaveral only): $146,300.00 - $271,700.00

Please note that the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon a candidate's experience and qualifications, as well as internal equity, market and business considerations. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in addition to base pay.
