Northrop Grumman is currently seeking a Security Coordinator 3, to join our Tactical Space Systems team in Chantilly, VA. This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work. In this job, you will:

• Support a fast-paced high-profile environment
• Create, maintain and leverage working relationships with internal and external customers
• Be responsible for meticulous record-keeping and responsible for accurate data input into multiple databases/spreadsheets
• Produce employee and guest badges, identification cards, and security reader cards
• Process security information and data for employment records, security clearances, and property control
• Process visit authorizations for employees and guests to gain access to restricted areas
• Maintain lock and key records and manages accountability and/or issues media (CDs, DVDs, etc...) to enable file transfers 
• Verify accuracy of information prior to issuing media. Maintains database for controlled security documents and information.
• Perform clearance verification, escorting, and access control activities in and around secure facilities, and must be willing and able to work variable shifts if necessary (afternoons, evenings, and possibly weekends)
• Manage secure conference room calendars and offer security support for meetings, order supplies, and complete all other administrative tasks as assigned
• Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 4+ years of additional education and/or related experience
• Computer and desktop Microsoft office software products experience (Word, Excel etc...)
• Requires an active U.S. Government DoD Top-Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree

Salary Range: $50,000.00 - $83,300.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
