EchoStar has an exciting opportunity in our Hughes Network Systems division for a Program Management Intern. This position will be located at our Germantown, MD office.

Responsibilities:

• Learn and apply project management methodologies to ensure successful program execution.
• Design and implement automation solutions for scheduling processes, reports, presentations, and other routine tasks.
• Work closely with relevant teams to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency.
• Develop procedures and policies for aviation programs in collaboration with subject matter experts.
• Create and maintain project documentation, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Gain in-depth knowledge of aviation industry practices, regulations, and standards.
• Shadow and learn from experienced project managers to understand best practices in project management.

Basic Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's program pursuing a degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Project Management, or a related field.
• Must have 60 credit hours completed by June 2025
• 3.0 GPA or above

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong organizational and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Basic knowledge of Smartsheet, Microsoft Power Automate is a plus.
• Basic understanding of project management principles is a plus.

Compensation Range

Annual Salary: $51,000.00 - $73,000.00
