Job description
a.i solutions is seeking a highly motivated Product Assurance Action (PAA) Panel Mission Integration Coordinator (MIC) with a passion for aerospace to join our team supporting NASA’s Commercial Crew Program (CCP) at Kennedy Space Center. You would be a key member of a high performing, fast-paced team responsible for Safety and Mission Assurance (SMA) Product Assurance Action coordination support in uniting customers, capabilities, and culture to explore space through unparalleled human access to space services for the International Space Station. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to embrace the a.i. solutions mission and work to continually exceed the expectations of our customers.
Essential Roles & Responsibilities:
- Manage PAA Panel agenda including reserving conference facilities and scheduling teleconferences as required
- Record PAA Panel actions, minutes, and audio/video
- Collect, update, track, and analyze PAA and insight data within CCP Jira PAA tickets
- Maintain configuration management of PAA tickets and PAA Panel electronic records
- Prepare presentations that reflect PAA data in support of Safety and Mission Assurance (SMA) reviews (ex. Tech Authority Management Review, Safety and Mission Success Review) and programmatic reviews (ex. Flight Readiness Review)
- Develop metrics that represent PAA scheduling, execution, and completion aligned with Program milestones
- Develop ad hoc metrics, graphics, and dashboards for SMA or Program that synthesize various PAA system, subsystem, and overall tracking by mission
- Coordinate updates from engineers on completion status of PAA assessments, record reviews, and pre-trip reviews
- Conduct benchmarking and recommend workflow, process, plan and work instruction improvements/strategies to reduce level of effort between each mission
- Facilitate CCP SharePoint, Jira, and Confluence access requests for PAA executors and SMA stakeholders
- Implement PAA workflow in CCP Jira and customize PAA ticket template and workflow as required
- Document processes in Confluence and update processes as required
- Organize and input data in the CCP SharePoint site including lists, and libraries, and other web pages in support of CCP SMA activities.
- Update plans and work instructions in SharePoint as required
- Candidate must be willing to support occasional travel
- Candidate must be able to work a flexible schedule to support launch campaigns and meetings across different time zones
Minimum Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship
- Successful completion of NASA’s NACI background investigation process
- Bachelor’s degree or at least 5 years of relevant experience in mission coordination – NASA experience is a plus.
- Expert comprehension of Microsoft Office Products
Desired Background:
- Familiarity with NASA’s Commercial Crew Program
- Proficient with Microsoft Teams, WebEx, SharePoint, Jira, and Confluence
- Experience in coordinating official meetings
- Ability to quickly connect in-person and in writing, and to actively listen and perceive the needs, values or opinions of others
- Proactivity in identifying and addressing challenges to include innovations that result in positive organizational impact
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail -- ability to multi-task several projects at once
- Ability to thrive preparing for and in a launch campaign environment
