Quality Product Acceptance Specialist (Associate or Mid-Level)

The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking a Quality Product Acceptance Specialist (Associate or Mid-Level) to join the Quality Team located in Kennedy Space Center, FL.

Position Responsibilities:

Level B:

  • Verifies routine product conformance to design requirements.
  • Provides objective evidence of results. Performs auditing, surveillance and monitoring.
  • Identifies and documents discrepancies. Segregates and controls non-conforming items.
  • Performs preliminary review and disposition of non-conformance.
  • Conducts product review with customer during product or process verification.
  • Identifies repetitive or significant non-conformances and initiates requests for corrective action

Level C:

  • Verifies product conformance to design requirements.
  • Provides objective evidence of results.
  • Validates work instructions, tooling requirements, certifications, process standards, policies and procedures.
  • Identifies and documents discrepancies and segregates and controls non-conforming items.
  • Performs preliminary review and disposition of non-conformance.
  • Conducts product review with customer during product or process verification.
  • Identifies repetitive or significant non-conformances and initiates requests for corrective action.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at listed location.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.  An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • High School / GED Diploma is required
  • Experience reading and understanding engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications
  • Experience working or inspecting to non-conformance work orders
  • Experience working with AS9100 and/or similar (QMS) Quality Management System standard

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Level C: 3 or more years of related work experience
  • Aerospace industry experience

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range for associate level (Level B): USD 46,750– 63,250

Summary pay range for mid-level (Level C): USD 53,550– 72,450
