We’re on the hunt for a Internal Services Coordinator on our Satellite systems team at our Montreal office.

Role: 

The incumbent is mainly responsible for accommodating work spaces and premises, plan maintenance work, coordinate inventory of the furniture and develop and update plans and drawings related to layouts and work.

 

Tasks: 

  • Develop and update the drawings of the building and public services to match the state and current data, for maintenance, security or renovation projects.
  • On a daily basis, plan and organize the housekeeping work of the building.
  • On a daily basis, plan and organize construction work related to the maintenance of machinery and building equipment with work orders in order to use effectively the maintenance department workforce.
  • Prepare the drawings for major renovation projects that will be used by the maintenance trades or sub-contractors in order to develop their proposals and set their prices.
  • Administer the preventive maintenance program.
  • Develop and update drawings for current layout of the building.
  • Produce new layouts of the building and offices according to the information and data obtained from the various managers and make sure that they comply with standards and building codes or relevant regulations.
  • Receive and classify the work requests from all departments.
  • Analyze the needs or consequences of layouts in regards to structure, electricity, lighting, fire protection, heating, air conditioning and plumbing, and suggest efficient solutions to the cost plan.
  • Prepare cost evaluations for minor work in his/her area of responsibility.
  • Develop a diagram detailing each phase for each project.
  • Plan and coordinate all internal moves and inventory of furniture.
  • Perform other related duties.

 

Minimum required Qualifications:

  • Education: College education in architectural technology or civil engineering technology.

  • Experience:  Two (2) to three (3) years of experience in structure design drawing

  • Linguistic Level: Good knowledge of oral and written French. Knowledge of English, an asset.

  • Knowledge of building trades and maintenance methods.
  • Good software knowledge (Autocad, Word, Excel, Outlook…)
  • Good adaptability and organizational capacity
  • Good communication capacity

Special Considerations:

Successful candidates must obtain and hold security clearance at the reliability status level, and pass security assessment for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP) and ITAR.
