Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Sr. Principal Logistics Management Analyst to work within the Deep Space Advanced Radar Capability (DARC) Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) organization and be a key contributor to define, manage, and implement DARC site Operations and Maintenance (O&M). This role will be primarily responsible for the definition and management of the DARC Site Operations and Maintenance activities.  You will be imbedded within the ILS organization and work collaboratively across the organization to achieve to duties of this position.  

Job Duties Include:   

  • Coordinate with DARC site 1 personnel and subcontractors to plan and manage all on-site operations and maintenance activities.
  • Provide input to processes and procedures for on-site tasks related to maintenance, operations, procurement actions, and Operations and Maintenance metrics reporting.
  • Maintain the Statement of Work for the on-site subcontract for the operations and maintenance of DARC Site 1.
  • Manage, track, and implement change proposals for the Operations and Maintenance subcontract of DARC site 1.
  • Monitor schedule and cost performance of the Operations and Maintenance subcontract for DARC site 1.
  • Monitor subcontractor Operations and Maintenance sustaining engineering and configuration control board processes and procedures.
  • Plan and build subcontractor organizational structure to accomplish on-site O&M and logistics activities to include shift schedules, number of personnel, skillsets.
  • Ensure subcontractor complies with warehouse, preventive and corrective maintenance database updates, data collection and reporting (quality, reliability and maintenance), personnel planning, etc.
  • Coordinate subcontractor cost, schedule, and performance with CAMs, on-site leads, Business Management, etc. 
  • Oversee in-country procurements to include managing the procurement process.
  • Advise on issues/problems faced with maintenance activities, procurements, etc.
  • Participate in long-term sustainment planning for the Interim Contractor Support (ICS) period.

Basic Qualifications

  • Active DoD Secret clearance at time of application with ability to obtain Top Secret
  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 8 years relevant experience; 6 years with a Master's; 4 years with a PhD. An additional 4 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tool suite
  • Familiar with basic principles and theory of logistics management, inventory management, and DoD Acquisitions
  • Familiar with Engineering Drawings, Technical Manual Development, Training Development and Logistics Analysis
  • Ability to travel up to 25%

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active DoD Top Secret clearance
  • Experienced with the logistics planning and requirements in the design, analysis and development phase
  • Experienced with Logistics Planning to include Level of Repair Analysis, Spares Forecasting, Reliability, and Program Health Models
  • Experienced with Technical Documentation development, to include technical manuals/orders, drawings and Training material
  • Experienced with planning, and managing the deployment and fielding of equipment
  • Experienced with logistics requirements and deliverables in the design phases of the life cycle
  • Experience with DoD provisioning systems
  • Experience with MIL PRF 49506 and LMI/LSA data products
  • Experience with DMSMS and obsolescence planning
  • Experience with Import/Export requirements and processes
  • Experience with subcontractor management
  • Experience with IT Asset Management or License Management
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams in a project-oriented environment

Salary Range: $93,800.00 - $140,800.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
