About This Role

In this newly created, essential role, you will report to the Technical Recruiting Manager and collaborate with our recruitment team and Hiring Manager across the company to grow our team, and take our business to unprecedented heights. We are looking to significantly scale our workforce, and you will be a key driver to make that happen. As a Recruitment Coordinator you will act as Varda’s “brand magnet,” taking over scheduling, hosting, and ensuring the recruiting process runs smoothly and efficiently. Since this is a true start up environment you will have the opportunity to collaborate with key stakeholders and help build something elite, in collaboration with Recruitment and Aerospace Industry Leaders, makes this role truly unique, and incredibly exciting.

The Recruiting Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring candidates have a positive and lasting impression of Varda. Along with scheduling interviews, a Recruiting Coordinator will help plan hiring events, keep track of metrics, and plan other program initiatives working with the business and technical leaders. 

Responsibilities

  • Manage interviews, scheduling, and employment offers
  • Host candidate onsite visits and conduct candidate tours around the workshop
  • Speak intelligently about our business and spacecraft with potential candidates and vistors
  • Engage with candidates to ensure a positive experience
  • Coordinate recruiting events for local and non-local campus visits
  • Assist the recruiting team with special projects as needed
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.
  • 1-3 years related experience required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Proficient with Greenhouse and/or other Talent Acquisition System software
  • Proficient with Calendly, Outlook Calendar or other recruiting and scheduling tools

Pay Range

  • Salary range: $80,000 - $105,000
  • This role is on-site in El Segundo, CA
  • Leveling and base salary is determined by job-related skills, education level, experience level, and job performance
  • You will be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of stock options and/or long-term cash awards
