Job Summary

Aerospace is looking for a proven self-starter who has a passion for People Operations / Human Resources to join its team as a People Partner Specialist (People Partner Specialist III/IV). This individual will have exceptional communication skills and will love working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. We are looking for an individual with a bias towards action who has exceptional Excel and analytical skills and who enjoys multi-tasking.

This role reports to the National Systems Group (NSG) Strategic People Partner Director.  NSG serves as the technical advisor to the Intelligence Community and its mission partners involved in the collection and distribution of national and tactical intelligence, including electronics programs, advanced technologies, ground and communications, imagery programs, and systems engineering and launch.

Work Model

This is a full-time onsite position located at our Chantilly, VA campus.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Partner with People Operations leadership to understand business issues and develop solutions in  support of client and People Operations objectives
  • Deliver products, answer questions, and manage timelines in a very fast paced and ever-changing environment
  • Assist leaders and employees on interpreting People Operations policies and procedures
  • Support NSG leaders and employees on people-related matters
  • Assist with developing and implementing People Operations programs and initiatives
  • Assist with employee communication initiatives; updating records; managing, tracking, processing, and compiling sensitive and confidential data
  • Support annual performance management planning and succession planning
  • Manage large sets of complex data and work within Excel to manipulate the data (macros, pivots, v-look ups, etc.)
  • Create powerpoint presentations to tell a story and presenting the data from Excel in an executive summary format
  • Support People Operations team including:
    • Preparation of presentations
    • Workday queries and report development
    • People Operations projects and event coordination

What You Need to be Successful -

Minimum Requirements for the People Partner Specialist III:

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field
  • Five or more years of related experience
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (i.e. pivot tables, macros, V-Lookups) plus other MS products including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Customer-centric aptitude
  • Self-motivated, proactive and takes initiative
  • Demonstrated customer service, teamwork, and collaboration skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organization skills
  • Process improvement mindset
  • Ability to function and exercise discretion in a fast-paced environment with constant change
  • Ability to handle confidential data with a high level of professionalism
  • This position requires ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance, which is issued by the U.S. government. U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.

In addition to the above, the minimum requirements for the People Partner Specialist IV include:

  • Eight or more years of related experience
