Job description

Duties

Design and oversee the architecture of NASA’s Microsoft Power Platform, including Dataverse, Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio, and Data Gateways, ensuring scalability, security, and integration with existing systems.
Develop, implement, and manage agency-wide governance frameworks for the Low Code/No Code Microsoft Power Platform, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and NASA policies.
Lead the transition from UiPath RPA products to Microsoft Power Platform tools, ensuring successful offboarding of legacy systems by 2026.
Collaborate with security teams to create and maintain System Security Plans (SSPs) and ensure all automation tools meet federal IT security standards.
Provide expertise and support for automation-related projects, adhering to NASA's 7120.7 project management process, including milestone tracking and risk management.
Promote adoption of the Microsoft Power Platform by providing training and resources for NASA teams, including the use of AI-driven tools such as Copilot Studio.
Facilitate the integration of Power BI to generate actionable insights, creating dashboards and reports to evaluate automation service performance.
Represent NASA in the Microsoft Champion program, advocating for agency needs, sharing best practices, and collaborating with Microsoft to enhance platform capabilities.

Qualifications

Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.

To qualify for GS-14, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level:

Designing and implementing Microsoft Power Platform solutions, including Dataverse and Power Automate, to address complex enterprise requirements;
Developing and enforcing governance frameworks for enterprise-level automation platforms, ensuring alignment with organizational policies and federal regulations;
Managing the integration and migration of legacy automation tools to modern platforms, with a focus on ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

AND

IF you are qualifying based on experience, you MUST also have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below:
