ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

SERVICE REQUEST MANAGEMENT

  • Receives and addresses facility service request (via MC system) from employees and onsite teams; maintains and tracks MC work orders

        

PROJECT MANAGEMENT     

  • Manages multiple and concurrent projects through all phases at a Facilities Project Engineer level, developing requirements, utilizing capacity matrix, drawings working with architects, electrical and mechanical engineers developing detailed design drawings, including evaluating constructability, planning, energy efficiency evaluations and recommendations.  Principle engineer will initialize construction document preparation, interdisciplinary coordination, and construction administration.  Duties will include client and design interaction, resolving technical issues as required, while completing the project. Projects include new construction and renovations for a variety of different manufacturing spaces and office areas; some of which include CLASSIFIED, at various levels, Collateral, ICD-705, and TEMPEST SCIF areas which may require updating to current specifications, as required.

                    

ELECTRICAL SUBJECT MATTER EXPERT

  • Ability to ensure safety compliance, utilizing proper PPE.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical problems, utilizing various devices, including ammeters, voltmeters, thermal scanners and cable testers.
  • The ability to coordinate or install, replace wiring, lighting and electrical controls, breakers and other electrical devices, including testing of emergency and exit lights required by NFPA 70E.
  • Through knowledge of state and local building regulations.
  • Ability to document work completed, materials, opening and closing work orders.
  • Update electrical and single line drawings, coordination studies required by NFPA 70E. Utilize building automation system accessing, interpreting information from power meters and HVAC controls.

SERVICE VENDOR RELATIONS

  • Supports, monitors and manages service vendor contracts (PRs/POs).  Creates and submits Scope of Work (SOW) for service level agreements.  Works with current vendor(s) in supporting the Facility Service Agreement (FSA)

Other Roles of Responsibility

  • Monitors and participates in operations of the facility
  • Plan, develop and implement facility upgrades and improvements as required
  • Review all site work to verify compliance in accordance with applicable plans, procedures and governing codes
  • Develop cost estimates, budget requirements, and status reports
  • Manage preventive maintenance schedules and reports for infrastructure equipment
  • Respond to emergency site maintenance as required
  • Receive, review, and assigns work orders for facility related requests

Basic Qualifications

  • A Skilled professional with valid Journeyman license, that has over 5 years of experience installing, maintaining, and repairing 12 kV and 480-volt electrical systems in industrial and commercial building structures.
  • Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years of facility related experience; OR 10 years of facility related experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Ability to obtain a DoD secret clearance.
  • US Citizenship required.

Salary Range: $91,200.00 - $136,800.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
