What will you do in this role? 

As ICEYE Solutions Delivery Manager, you will grow and lead a team across numerous global time zones to execute on the critical and timely delivery of natural catastrophe products. Your team will include full-time ICEYE employees, external consultants, and outsourced individuals. Today, the core of operations is Flood Insights, which requires 24/7 global engagement. We want to both persist this 24/7 responsibility, but ensure we maintain a reasonable work-life-balance for employees of your team. You are therefore instrumental in working with senior leadership and product management to architect and execute on the creation of a highly functioning and happy team.

Responsibilities

  • Manages the delivery of FI Product ensuring consistency, efficiency and quality across operations
  • Monitors performance metrics to assess and identify opportunities to improve operational outcomes
  • Analyses and refines operational processes to improve efficiency and enhance solution delivery
  • Leads and manages the operational team to ensure alignment with delivery goals and priorities. 
  • Collaborates with internal teams and external partners to address issues and implement solutions; 
  • Establishes and maintains robust contingency plans to address service disruptions
  • Communicates across teams daily to ensure alignment with goals and priorities. Acts as a bridge between delivery team and stakeholders providing clear updates on analyses progress.
  • Documents and tracks quality of deliverables
  • Leads initiatives to drive operational excellence
  • Provides clear direction, set expectations and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
  • Collaborates with the Meteorology team and outsourced teams for operational planning. Ensures smooth collaboration between the teams working on flood analysis.
  • Cooperates on development of training plans and develop individual development plans to enhance teams performance and expertise
  • Guides team members empowering them to deliver analyses effectively
  • Proactively identifies and addresses risks impacting delivery
  • Utilises customer feedback to improve performance. Ensures queries are addressed in a timely manner.
  • Leads and grows large global team to execute effectively and operationally within SLAs

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master’s degree in Hydrology or related field
  • Expertise in GIS techniques, GIS data analysis and understanding of various remote sensing technologies
  • Fundamental understanding of disaster analysis and management
  • Proven experience in a leadership role
  • Exceptional analytical skills to interpret data, trends, and metrics to drive informed decision-making.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to facilitate effective collaboration with international teams and stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify challenges, propose solutions, and drive their implementation.
  • Ability to delegate tasks effectively and motivate team members
  • Resource allocation expertise
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Adaptability to changing circumstances and priorities
