Summary
We have a new opportunity for a General Manager with strong business development and international experience to lead the Redwire Poland Business Unit. You will be working for a space infrastructure company with a growing international presence in a high-visibility and high-impact role. The position will begin in September and will report to the Redwire Europe President.
Responsibilities
• Plan, monitor, and execute on the day-to-day management of the Redwire Poland business unit
• Oversee business development for the Redwire Poland business unit, including lead generation, capture management, and proposal submission
• Develop a business unit three-year growth strategy, including pipeline development and revenue forecasting
• Develop a business unit specialization plan and market capture strategy, with key milestones (KPIs) to track execution progress over the course of an 18-month period
• Provide regular updates to the Redwire leadership team, including the Board of Directors, on all aspects of the Redwire Poland Business Unit (e.g. strategic, financial, operational, technical)
• Manage engineers to ensure delivery of mission-compliant, on-time, and on-budget contractual obligations
• Manage relationships with key government, nongovernment, and international stakeholders (e.g. ESA, Ministry of Economic Development, POLSA, EDA, NATO, etc.), in fluent English or Polish as required
• Conduct company-level networking, engaging in local and international conferences with a goal to build Redwire brand recognition
• Approximately 30% of travel is required
Ideal Experience
• Minimum 10 years’ experience managing business operations, teams and change, with a proven record of proposal execution, launching high-quality solutions and revenue generation for a multinational space company
• Demonstrated capability to build, and scale up, new teams or departments
• Prior success in a GM level role building a business from the ground up and managing Profit and Loss (P&L)
• Familiarity with diverse business functions and relationships (e.g. engineering, operations, finance, HR)
• Advanced engineering degree, paired with a master’s degree in business administration or relevant experience is required
• Possess excellent communication skills
• Must be fluent (verbal, and written) in Polish and English
