What You’ll Get To Do:
As an Associate Electrical Design engineer for the program's System Test Lab Design and Operations Team, your work will enable the electrical testing of next generation aerospace systems in a lab environment. With mentorship from other electrical engineers, you will research, develop, design, and test electrical components, equipment, systems, architectures, and networks for a laboratory environment. You will have the opportunity to release designs, support efforts to procure materials for them, test them after they are fabricated, and see them integrated onto the test bed.

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

Job Qualifications BQs/You’ll Bring These Qualifications  
• Bachelors in Science in Electrical Engineering.
• This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet business needs.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills; strong interpersonal and analytic skills.
• Works well in a team environment.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have (PQs)
• Prior experience designing test equipment for laboratory use.
• Experience with electrical laboratory tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, etc.

Salary Range: $63,900.00 - $95,900.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
