Our facility in Highlands Ranch, CO
has an immediate opportunity for a Program Planning Associate Manager to join our mission supporting the Orion program. Lockheed Martin is the prime contractor building the Orion Multi-Purpose Crew Vehicle, NASA’s first spacecraft designed for long-duration, human-rated deep space exploration. Orion will transport humans to interplanetary destinations beyond low Earth orbit, such as asteroids, the moon, and eventually Mars, and return them safely to Earth.
As our Integrated Program Planning Associate Manager, your duties may include:
• Act as a point of contact with program Directors and Senior Program Planning Management
• Supervise your Planning team and provide direction and oversight through daily interactions
• Help grow the team through mentoring, relationship building, and continued training
• Collaborate with the Planning Manager for personnel assignments, establishment of priorities and ensuring adequate training, and corrective action measures
• Guide team members based on organizational goals and company policy
• Responsible for accurate and timely delivery of Planning artifacts for the business area
• Maintaining schedules, performing probabilistic/deterministic risk analysis, and identifying critical/driving paths while developing solutions for resolutions
• Support the team with network logic validation/deconfliction
• Maintaining cost and schedule integration throughout the program lifecycle
• Managing late hardware process through existing business rhythm processes

Basic Qualifications:
• Leadership experience
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
• Proficient with Microsoft Project and/or Project Server
• Experience developing/maintaining Network Schedules
• Experience delivering project briefings to internal and external customers
• Experiences with Earned Value Management (EVM) including Cost/Schedule Integration
Desired Skills:
• 10 years or more of experience in planning or program management related discipline
• Experience in leading diverse teams virtually across multiple locations
• Experience in creating, maintaining, and providing analysis for Programs
• Demonstrated practical application of Program Planning processes and tools
• Experience with DCMA surveillances
• Demonstrated understanding of the Integrated Program
• Management DIDs (IPMR & IPMDAR)
• Experience with OpenPlan
• IMS development and maintenance expertise
• Experience in Schedule Risk Assessment process/tools
• Ability to communicate utilizing different techniques and build strong relationships
• Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $91,300 - $175,000. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
