DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensuring that consistent and accurate product file in both traditional and digital formats is generated from the engineering department
• Adhering to a model centric environment
• Checking 3D parametric models and drawings created by the Designers and Engineers
• Work with engineers to provide guidance on design for manufacturability and maintenance
• Adhere to and stay current with applicable standards and specifications
• Develops knowledge and expertise to serve as a department SME, including learning new tasks to gain deeper knowledge and insight, demonstrating our value of leading
• Perform other duties as assigned

Education & Experience

• Minimum 12 years’ experience creating manufacturing drawings with ASME Y14 standards
• Minimum 8 years’ using 3D CAD for drawing creation (SolidWorks preferred)
• Minimum of a technical degree or relative ASME certifications (if less than 15 years of total work experience)
• Machining and fitting experience preferred

Essential Functions

Work Environment: Generally, an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on the task.

Requirements 

• Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
• Management has the prerogative to select at any level for which the position is advertised.
• Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.

Physical Requirements

• Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods (90% of the time). May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. (5% of the time).

• Standard office equipment (PC, telephone, printer, etc.).
