About the Role  

The Contract Technical Recruiter will lead the full cycle recruitment process from the kick-off discussion to direct sourcing, assessment and closing. You partner proactively with business leaders, hiring managers and cross functional teams, and recruiting team to support hiring needs for Capella Space, including Intern, Engineering, and Business hiring needs.  

Responsibilities 

  • As the recruitment subject matter expert, you are someone who continually demonstrates creative sourcing strategies and ensures an outstanding candidate experience. You are able to navigate ambiguity and proactively identify roadblocks in the hiring process. 
  • Gain in-depth understanding of the business functions and provide proactive solutions to ensure recruiting goals and deadlines are met. 
  • Cultivate and maintain networks both internally and externally within the organization to identify key talent and create strong talent pipelines. Act as a brand ambassador for Capella’s recruiting efforts. 
  • Develop and nurture strong partnerships with business leaders, hiring managers, and cross-functional teams, establishing trust through the exceptional delivery of qualified candidates and a smooth hiring process. 
  • Drive and facilitate the offer process, including securing offer approvals, conducting negotiations, and managing acceptances. 
  • Ensure responsibility for the entire candidate workflow and the accuracy of data in Greenhouse. 
  • Consistently communicate in a proactive, professional, and confidential manner, providing detailed updates regularly, adapting your methods and approach to the needs of the business group for an effective and consistent experience. 

Qualifications 

  • 5+ years’ experience developed in a mix of agency and in-house recruiting; at least 3 of those years with a focus in technology recruiting.
  • Experience with technical engineering recruiting across both software and hardware engineering, and manufacturing engineering.
  • Expertise in all aspects of recruiting including, but not limited to sourcing, networking, screening, assessing, handling relationships with hiring teams and business partners, coaching, driving processes, offer negotiation, awareness of employment laws and employment market trends.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and understand new technologies.
  • Excellent communication skills, driving great cross-functional relationships and establishing credibility within and outside of the organization.
  • Advocates, educates and influences the business to Capella’s recruitment strategies, processes and philosophy.
  • Attention to detail in all steps of the process along with data and workflow management. Highly organized and able to prioritize and drive efficiencies and consistency in the recruiting process.
  • Use data and metrics to influence overall sourcing strategy.
  • Demonstrated track record of driving successful inclusion and diversity strategies and tactics across the recruiting process lifecycle. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-orientated environment.
  • BS/BA degree preferred.  

Compensation 

This role will be a 1099 contract position with an expected 40 hours of work per week. The hourly range for this role as it is posted is $40.00 - $55.00. The final pay will be determined based on the education, qualification, knowledge, skills, ability, and experience of the final candidate(s), and specific office location.
