Lockheed Martin is seeking an early career Contracts Administrator to the Commercial Civil Line of Business. The selected candidate will have responsibility for a broad range of contract administration and estimating activities.
The selected candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and reconciliation of reporting for the commercial civil space contracts and estimating organizations. This will require the ability to work in a cross-functional team environment in order to obtain the data necessary for completion of the reports.
The candidate will also support other contracts professionals with performing contract administration duties and responsibilities in accordance with internal policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, customer requirements, and sound business judgment. This includes the review, coordination and execution of certifications and representations, drafting and executing non-disclosure agreements, proposal support, drafting and managing customer correspondence, updating ECS with contract modifications, draft and support presentations for customer and management reviews and performing special assignments as required.
Additionally, the candidate will support the development of Proposals in response to requests from prospective customers. Scope of Work will include supporting the building of Basis of Estimates from historic data, specifications from the customer and industry knowledge; preparation of proposal presentations for functional and senior leadership. This position will be expected to manage multiple competing priorities at one time.
Must have good communication skills with the ability to effectively establish and maintain thriving, open and trusting relationships with all customers, both internally and externally.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college in Business, Contracts Management, Finance, Legal, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Detail oriented and good organization skills
- Proactive and results oriented with good follow-up skills
Desired Skills:
- Familiar with FAR/DFAR regulations
- Determination to drive results, communicate status, and coordinate progress about a variety of topics.
- Business Writing experience - emails, formal
correspondence, proposals, and presentations.

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $50,300 - $96,400. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidateβs final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
