What will you do in this role? 

This internship offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated Full-stack Developer Intern to contribute to the development and maintenance of internal tools and web applications. You will work closely with our team to streamline workflows, automate tasks, and implement new concepts using your Python and web development skills.

You will be involved in projects related to satellite lifecycles.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain internal tools using Python to improve interactions with Jira projects. 
  • Implement new concepts and features into existing tools and applications. 
  • Ensure the ongoing functionality and stability of developed tools through maintenance and bug fixes. 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to tool and application performance. 
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and contribute to a positive work environment.

Requirements

What will you need to be successful in this role?

  • Basic understanding of object-oriented programming and basic data structures. 
  • Proficiency in Python, including experience with relevant libraries for web development (e.g., Flask, Django) and scripting. 
  • Solid foundation in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. 
  • Proficiency in using Git for version control.
  • A positive attitude and desire to learn

In addition to the above, it would be beneficial if you had the below attributes and skills:

  • Prior experience with Jira for project management and issue tracking. 
  • Familiarity with at least one modern frontend framework (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js). 
  • Experience with testing methodologies and writing unit tests.
