The Aeronautics Systems (AS) Organizational Effectiveness team is looking for a Talent Operations Lead to help maximize the impact of talent development initiatives across our sector. If you are passionate about the employee experience and want to help empower employees at all levels to define possible in their career, this role is for you!

In this role, you will partner across the Organizational Effectiveness department, AS Human Resources organization, and the AS business to help unleash the potential of our workforce. By supporting program planning activities at all stages of the project life cycle, you will be able to create a cohesive employee experience and ensure consistency in program branding, communications, and evaluation. You will be key in planning in-person and virtual talent development events and ensuring they are executed flawlessly.

You will maximize the end user experience at key program touch points by helping employees and leaders understand the value our programs through meaningful communications and engaging program marketing materials. In addition, you will drive operational efficiencies by identifying technology solutions that help increase employee engagement and streamline program delivery processes. The preference is for this position to be based in Melbourne, FL, but Palmdale, CA may also be considered.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of work experience in human resources, talent development, employee engagement, communications, marketing, or related discipline
  • Experience with visual communications, brand management, or digital marketing
  • Experience supporting the planning and/or delivery of in-person and virtual corporate programs and events
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance and Special Program Access within a reasonable amount of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational and project management skills with experience successfully leading small to mid-scale projects
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with experience communicating with employees at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to quickly build partnerships and influence without formal authority
  • Experience using Learning Management Systems to schedule classes, prepare class rosters, track enrollment trends, and record participation
  • Prior experience integrating disparate data sources to identify program trends
  • Experience developing intuitive visuals to report out on program status or key insights
  • Prior experience with HR data systems, system integration, process improvement, or related function
  • Prior experience with Canva, ServiceNow, Workday, Microsoft Teams, and/or SharePoint
  • Experience designing and administering surveys

Melbourne Salary Range: $ 62,200-93,400

Palmdale Salary Range: $ 72,100-108,100

Salary Range: $62,200.00 - $108,100.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
