Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems sector is seeking a Security Coordinator level 4 at our El Segundo, CA location.

Duties and Responsibilities: Maintains personnel security records. Processes visit authorizations for employees and guests to gain access to restricted areas. Collects and verifies accuracy of information prior to issuing Special Program accesses. Maintains controlled security documents and information. Processes security information and data for employment records, security clearances, and property control.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent, and 6 years of additional education and/or administrative or security-related experience.

  • Candidate must have and be able to maintain an Active FINAL U.S. Government security clearance at the DoD Secret level with a background investigation date within 6 years.

  • Must have the ability to obtain a FINAL U.S. Government security clearance at the DoD Top-Secret level and Special Accesses within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Responsible for accurate data input into an access control database.

  • Must be able to adapt to a fast paced and challenging work environment and must demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills.

  • Provide briefings/debriefings to personnel for activities such as: new hires, terminations, foreign defensive travel.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Possess a final Top Secret security clearance

  • Experience with DISS, NISS, JADE, or similar data bases.

  • Working knowledge of DoD, SAP, and SCI programs to provide procedural and policy guidance.

  • Proficient with SIMS and Workday.

  • Possess an understanding and working knowledge of NISPOM, DoDM 5205 series, and ICD security standards.

Salary Range: $58,400.00 - $97,400.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
