Lockheed Martin (LM) is looking for an enthusiastic Systems Engineer to become a member of the Systems Engineering and Integration Team.

As a Systems Engineer MBSE for MK7, you will:

• Play a role in transforming the MK7 Program into a fully Model-Based organization, including the rapid implementation of the "Full Digital Thread" from Concept Requirements all the way through to Manufacturing, Integration, Verification, & Deployment

• Employ MBSE approaches to developing products using the Systems Modeling Language (SysML), DOD Architecture Framework (DODAF) and MBSE resources to capture, maintain, and visualize a total system solution within an integrated system model to communicate the design and facilitate automation of integration with other domains

• Develop, optimize & demonstrate best practices and modern MBSE processes & standards for incorporation into the MK7 program

• Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems--analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal

• Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints

• Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into subsystems specifications


YOU WILL TYPICALLY HAVE:
2+ years of professional experience with a Bachelor's degree.

• Active Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
• Systems Engineering lifecycle experience (Cameo)


• Applying SysML to Systems Engineering efforts and working with modern SysML software application

• Using MBSE execution and analysis tools and managing model content


• Experience with Model-based Verification

• Active Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance.
Desired Skills:
• Active TS DoD clearance, US Citizenship required

• Experience developing, reviewing, and releasing requirements and requirement management

• Experience developing system architecture and CONOPs with system design and decomposition

• Experience in Requirement and Verification

• Applying a number of Systems Engineering processes in a program setting

• Familiarity with MBSE execution and analysis tools

• Familiarity with MBE utilized in design, development, and analysis of Systems
Architecture

• Experience with coordinating Systems Milestones reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR)

• Demonstrated behaviors of a systems thinker; selects and applies appropriate systems thinking skills to solve very complex problems and implement constructive change

• Experience with analysis/simulation development and integration

• Experience with test planning, implementation, and test automation

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, excellent social skills, and ability to develop consensus among peers while shaping relationships with team members
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $67,400 - $129,300 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
